This self guided Scottish walking holiday in Scotland's Outer Hebrides crosses 10 islands linked by 6 causeways and 2 ferries. The Hebridean Way passes through rugged hills, along dazzling white shell beaches and across miles and miles of open moorland.
Some days you walk-in and walk-out of your accommodations. Some days you are transferred to your accommodation from the end of your walking stage and transferred back the following morning.

Day 3: Vatersay to Tangasdale on Barra  7 miles moderate

Day 5: ferry to Eriskay, walk to Dalabrog on South Uist  10 miles easy
Day 6: Dalabrog to Howmore on South Uist 11 miles easy
Day 7: Howmore to Lochcarnon on South Uist  10 miles easy
Day 8: Lochcarnon on South Uist to Balivanich on Benbecula  11 miles
Day 9: Balivanich on Benbecula to Carinish on North Uist 10 miles
Day 10: Carinish to Lochmaddy on North Uist 12 miles
Day 11: Lochmaddy on North Uist to Bernerary 11 miles
Day 12: ferry to Leverburgh, walk Horgabost on Harris 10 miles
Day 13: Horgabost to Lacklea on Harris 7 miles moderate
Day 14: Lacklea to Tarbet on Harris 10 miles moderate
Day 15: Tarbet to Ardvourlie on Harris 10 miles moderate
Day 16: Ardvourlie on Harris to Bailie Ailein on Lewis 12 miles moderate
Day 17: Bailie Ailen to Achamore on Lewis 10 miles moderate
Day 18: visit to Callanish Standing Stones,
              then Achamore to Stornoway on Lewis 7 miles easy
