This self guided Scottish walking holiday in Scotland's Outer Hebrides crosses 4 islands linked by 1 ferry. The Hebridean Way passes through rugged hills, along dazzling white shell beaches and across miles and miles of open moorland.
Some days you walk-in and walk-out of your accommodations. Some days you are transferred to your accommodation from the end of your walking stage and transferred back the following morning.

Day 1: Arrive at Lochmaddy or Benbecula, transfer to accommodation
Day 2: Lochmaddy on North Uist to Bernerary 11 miles
Day 3: ferry to Leverburgh, walk Horgabost on Harris 10 miles
Day 4: Horgabost to Lacklea on Harris 7 miles moderate
Day 5: Lacklea to Tarbet on Harris 10 miles moderate
Day 6: Tarbet to Ardvourlie on Harris 10 miles moderate
Day 7: Ardvourlie on Harris to Balallen on Lewis 12 miles moderate
Day 8: Balallen to Achamore on Lewis 10 miles moderate
Day 9: visit to Callanish Standing Stones,
              then Achamore to Stornoway on Lewis 7 miles easy
